You Did It: £32,130 Raised for Trent Rowing Club
Trent Rowing Club is proud to announce that, together with our incredible supporters, we have raised an amazing £32,130 toward our new boat shed project.
While this funding will provide a much-needed new space for our boats, it represents far more than bricks and mortar. The new facility will allow us to welcome more members, deliver indoor training without constant setup and pack-down and plan confidently for the future with room to grow.
This milestone simply would not have been possible without the dedication, generosity, and community spirit shown by so many. From our members, coaches, volunteers, and committee—past and present—to every single person who donated, sponsored, or supported the campaign, this achievement belongs to all of you.
Ducks In A Row: A Community Celebration
A huge highlight of our fundraising efforts was our very first Duck Race, held on 4 April 2026 at Stapenhill Gardens.
The event was a fantastic success, bringing together families, local businesses, and supporters for a day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit. From cheering on the duck releases to helping rescue those that drifted off course, the day perfectly captured what Trent RC is all about, people coming together and enjoying the River Trent.

Although the fundraising milestone has been reached, this is just the beginning. We’ll be sharing updates on the progress of the new boat shed very soon.
