At Trent Rowing Club, we welcome senior members (ages 19–26) and masters members (ages 27+), whether you're new to rowing or have prior experience. Our goal is to help you reach your full potential—both on and off the water—through expert coaching and a supportive community.

  • Wear comfortable, close-fitting sportswear—nothing too baggy, as it can get caught in the equipment. Trainers or running shoes are ideal for land training.   • Sessions typically run once or twice a week depending on the Summer or Winter training schedule.
    For all athletes, though, the number of sessions depends on ability.

  • Most clubs, including ours, offer programmes for both juniors (10-18) and adults. We also have dedicated sessions for seniors (19–26) and masters (27+).

  • Land sessions include rowing on machines (ergs), strength training, and technique drills. Water sessions take place in rowing boats on the river, where you’ll apply the techniques learned indoors.

  • All necessary equipment is provided, including boats, oars, lifejackets (if needed), and indoor training gear like ergs and weights.

  • Yes, limited parking is available on-site for members during session times.

  • Yes. Our clubhouse includes limited changing facilities, toilets, and showers for members to use before and after training.

  • Our mission is to drive excellence in rowing by providing a structured, inclusive, and high-performance environment for athletes of all ages. We are dedicated to developing competitive rowers, if you don’t wish to competitively compete, we can support you in finding the right club.
