Trent Rowing Club Enjoys Successes at Ironbridge Regatta 2026
Trent Rowing Club enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Ironbridge Regatta 2026, with athletes delivering impressive performances across two days of racing.

Saturday – Three Wins for Trent
Saturday got off to the perfect start as Ania raced through the rounds to win the WJ18 Single Sculls, claiming Trent's first victory of the weekend.
Success continued with Betty and Esme, who won the WJ15 Double Sculls, before Liv and Ania, fresh from competing at Henley Women's Regatta, added a third win by taking the Women's J17 Double Sculls pot.
Charlie also put in a determined performance in the Open Singles.
The WJ15 Quad of Betty, Hollie, Niamh and Esme, coxed by Eliza, raced well to reach the semi-finals, narrowly missing out on a place in the final, while James and Jim also battled hard in the Open Masters C Double Sculls.
Ania – Winner of the WJ18 Single Sculls, delivering a strong performance through all rounds to secure Trent’s first win of the weekend.
Betty & Esme – Winners of the WJ15 Double Sculls.
Liv & Ania – Winners of the WJ17 Double Sculls, building on their Henley Women’s Regatta experience.
Sunday – More Success Across the Squad
Sunday brought more strong results as Trent crews continued to progress through the knockout rounds.
Following her victory on Saturday, Ania returned to reach the final of the W1x Sculls.
Leon won the OpJ13 Single Sculls, while Eliza claimed first place in the WJ12 Single Sculls, highlighting the strength of Trent's youngest athletes, many of which were racing for the first time after graduating the Trent Learn to Row programme

There were more impressive performances throughout the day:
Betty reached the final of the WJ15 Single Sculls
Niamh and Hollie progressed to the final of the WJ15 Double Sculls.
Liv reached the semi-finals of the WJ17 Single Sculls.
Helen also made the semi-finals in the WMasters D/E Single Sculls - her first race for Trent, and not the last!
James reached the final of the OpMasters C Single Sculls.
Charlie and Liv raced in the Mixed Double Sculls, narrowly missing out on the final.
