Celebrating our Winners at Burton Regatta 2025
What an incredible weekend it’s been at Burton Regatta 2025 with clear blue skies, soaring temperatures, and the River Trent sparkling in the sunshine, the conditions were perfect for racing (and perhaps a bit of sunburn too!). Despite the heat, every crew showed grit, teamwork, and determination, putting in exceptional performances across the board.
The hot weather certainly tested endurance and focus, but our Trent crews rose to the occasion. From seasoned Juniors to first-time racers, it was a showcase of skill, resilience, and positivity. Every boat launched with energy and came off the water with smiles, a true credit to the spirit of the regatta.

So many wins, and just as importantly, so many courageous efforts, from tight finals to photo finishes, the energy on the river was electric.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, supported, volunteered or simply came to cheer. Your enthusiasm, encouragement and community spirit make Burton Regatta such a special event year after year. Whether you were rowing, spectating, coaching or just enjoying an ice cream by the river, it was a fantastic way to spend a sunny July weekend.
A special shout out to all the Trent Rowing Club crews who did the club proud on our beautiful home stretch of the River Trent. From friendly rivalries to supportive teammates, and proud parents lining the banks, this year’s regatta reminded us why we love this sport. The event was a celebration of rowing at its best, competitive, community-driven and full of fun and positivity.
Burton Regatta is a joint effort by Trent Rowing Club and Burton Leander, who together form the Burton Regatta Association. We are incredibly proud to host this event and can’t wait to welcome you all back next year.
