It was also a special day for Ania and Liv, who completed their first ever 10K, crossing the line together in 54:34 and even managing to pip Jim by around 45 seconds! A great effort and a fantastic milestone for both of them.
5K Highlights
In the 5K event, Meg smashed out a new personal best of 18:01, finishing as second female overall—amazing! Jack followed with a strong 21:50, Hollie completed the course in 28:18, both putting in great runs and representing TRC superbly.
Raising Funds for a New Boathouse
This year’s Brewer’s Run wasn’t just about personal bests and finish times — it was about helping build a new boathouse for Trent Rowing Club. Our vision is to create a facility that gives the club the space it needs to grow the squad, support junior and senior development and secure the long-term future of rowing at Trent.
If you would like to know more about our fundraising ambitions and plans, or to donate directly to Trent Rowing Club, please visit our JustGiving page. Every contribution helps bring us closer to a new boathouse and a stronger future for all at TRC.
Every runner, donor, and supporter today has played a part in making that vision a reality — thank you.
